What is compressor regeneration
Regeneration is much more than just a repair. We disassemble the compressor into parts, carefully check the condition of each component, replace worn and consumable components, and then assemble, test and restore to efficient, safe operation.
In many cases, remanufacturing can significantly reduce the cost compared to buying a new compressor – usually around 50% of the price of a new unit. The lead time depends on the type of compressor, the extent of damage and the availability of parts, so we always determine it individually after diagnostics.
We provide a warranty of up to 18 months for the regeneration performed.

04 · Technology
Compressor Remanufacturing Process
Compressor reconditioning in Compressland is a complete technical process – from disassembly and diagnostics, through cleaning, processing and assembly, to final testing. Thanks to this, we can assess the actual condition of the device and restore it to safe operation.
Removing the compressor
We disassemble the compressor into its components and initially assess the extent of mechanical and electrical damage.
Cleaning Elements
We remove oil, carbon deposits, swarf and debris to carefully check the condition of the body and internal parts.
Inspection of the body and work surfaces
We check sealing surfaces, oil channels, bearing seats, cylinders and working areas of moving parts.
Measurements and Machining
We measure key components, control clearances and tolerances, and perform honing, planning, or other machining if necessary.
Parts Verification
We assess which elements can be reused, which need reconditioning and which need to be replaced with new ones.
Electric Motor Control
In semi-hermetic compressors, we check the stator, windings, insulation and electrical connections. If necessary, we perform rewinding.
Preparation for assembly
We assemble parts, seals, bearings, valves and other components needed to properly assemble the compressor.
Compressor Assembly
We assemble the compressor according to the repair technology, controlling the fits, mounting clearances, tightening torques and lubrication system.
Final tests
We check the tightness, oil pressure, current consumption, electrical condition and operating culture of the compressor after regeneration.
Preparing for Pickup or Shipping
After positive tests, we secure the compressor for transport and provide information about the work performed and recommendations for commissioning.

Usually about 50% of the price of a new compressor. We provide an exact quote after the diagnostics.
How long does regeneration take?
The time is determined individually after the diagnostics – it depends on the type of compressor, the extent of the damage and the availability of parts. Approximately, regeneration lasts from 7 to 14 days. If you are in a hurry - it is possible to exchange it for a ready-made one from stock in 1 day.
