01 · Problem
When dismantling the entire compressor is costly or impossible
Large compressors mounted on the roofs of buildings, in enclosed machine rooms or other hard-to-reach places can be very expensive to disassemble and transport. Renting a suitable crane, closing the area and organizing specialized transport often make up a significant part of the total cost of repair.
In such situations, we can offer a hybrid compressor overhaul, combining the work performed directly at the unit with a full overhaul carried out in our workshop.
02 · Method
What is a hybrid renovation?
After a prior analysis of the device, the place of construction and the technical conditions, our team arrives at the facility. Together with the company servicing the system, we disconnect the compressor from the unit, and then disassemble it into appropriate components directly at the device.
The individual components are much lighter than a complete compressor, so they can be safely transported to our workshop without having to lift the entire unit with a heavy crane.

How does the service work?
From the technical assessment to the commissioning of the compressor folded back at the unit.
Technical Assessment
On the basis of documentation, photos and on-site inspection, we check whether a given compressor model and its installation location allow for the use of hybrid renovation.
Preparing the installation
The refrigeration company prepares the unit for work, secures the installation and performs activities related to the refrigerant and disconnection of the compressor.
Dismantling on site
Our team, in cooperation with a local service, disassembles the compressor from the unit and disassembles it into components that can be safely transported.
Renovation in the workshop
We transport the components to our plant, where they undergo cleaning, measurement, machining, parts replacement, engine inspection, assembly and testing.
Preparation of mounting modules
After the renovation, the compressor is assembled and inspected, and then prepared in appropriate transport units. As a result, the final assembly on the site requires fewer complicated steps.
Mounting at the generator
The components are returned to the place where we assemble the compressor and assemble it in the unit. Once the connections have been made and the installation is prepared, the compressor can be put through final tests and put into operation.
04 · Application
When is it worth using such a solution?
Hybrid overhaul works especially well for compressors fitted with:
- on the roofs of office buildings, hotels, shopping malls and other tall buildings,
- in machine rooms with limited access,
- in places without the possibility of introducing an appropriate lifting device,
- in aggregates, from which the disassembly of the entire compressor would be very expensive,
- in facilities where the use of a large crane would require additional permits, security measures or temporary shutdown of part of the area.

Benefits of Hybrid Renovation
Such a solution can significantly reduce the costs associated with renting heavy equipment, transport and organizing a complex lifting operation. At the same time, it allows you to carry out the most important renovation work in workshop conditions, using our machinery, measuring devices and test stations.
In many cases, this is not only a more cost-effective method, but also the only practical way to carry out a full compressor overhaul without replacing the entire unit.
06 · Cooperation
Cooperation with service companies and Facility Management
We address the service primarily to companies from the Facility Management industry, refrigeration services and entities responsible for the maintenance of HVAC installations.
We don't replace a local service – we work with it. The company taking care of the installation may be responsible for the preparation of the unit, the refrigerant, the installation connections and the restart of the system, while our team deals with the specialist disassembly, overhaul and installation of the compressor.
Each order is preceded by a technical analysis. The scope of work, the division of responsibilities and the method of securing and transporting components are determined individually before the start of implementation.
