Rewinding and overhauling of electric motors
In our company, we carry out rewinding, repairs and overhauls of electric motors used in industry, refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation and other technical equipment. We service engines both after a sudden failure and as part of planned overhauls.
All key stages of rewinding are performed in our own plant. Thanks to this, we have full control over the quality of the materials used, the accuracy of the winding and the course of final tests.
02 · Diagnostics
Diagnostics before repair
We start each engine with electrical and mechanical diagnostics. We check the condition of the windings, insulation, stator, rotor, shaft, bearings and electrical connections. This allows us to determine the cause of the failure and determine the appropriate scope of the overhaul.
Before removing the old winding, carefully record its parameters, including:
- diameter and type of winding cable,
- number of turns,
- the method of connecting the coils,
- jump and winding system,
- the resistance of individual phases.
On this basis, we reconstruct the winding according to the design and parameters of a given motor.

How does motor rewinding work?

Inspection and Final Testing
After rewinding is complete, each motor undergoes a detailed electrical inspection. We perform, among others:
- measurement of the resistance of each phase,
- control of the symmetry of windings,
- measurement of insulation resistance,
- voltage test 2000 V,
- checking the correctness of connections,
- test of operation under load with the use of a transformer.
The measurement results are saved, which allows you to confirm the correct execution of the winding before handing over the motor to the customer.
05 · Full renovation
Not just rewinding
Rewinding can be part of a comprehensive engine overhaul. Depending on its condition, the scope of work may also include cleaning components, replacing bearings, checking the shaft and bearing seats, and verifying mechanical components.
After the diagnostics, we present the scope of work needed and inform whether the engine overhaul is technically and economically justified.
